SolaPersona (18+)

SolaPersona is fully just an anonymous frontend (data saved locally in your browser) and is purely text-only, so if you wanted TTS, image sharing or character cards, then go to SillyTavern or something. SolaPersona is designed to be unfiltered and simple to use.

SolaPersona's system prompt frames every conversation as a LARP (live-action roleplay) with dedicated writing-style instructions. This framing was written to make roleplay feel natural and immersive, not to defeat any model's safety training. That said, across testing with several backend models, this framing has been observed to make some models more willing to continue into mature or explicit territory than they might under a flat, non-roleplay system prompt - an unintended side effect some users have started referring to as an "unintentional roleplay jailbreak," or URPJ. This wasn't the goal, but it also isn't something SolaPersona actively works to prevent, since the app has no content filter of its own to begin with - see the disclaimer below for what that means for you.

But if you still choose to proceed, here are common solutions to common problems:

Getting started

1. To get an API, go to an AI Gateway or provider (e.g OpenRouter) and create an account. Press your icon and generally the AI Gateway will generate the token for you. COPY AND KEEP THE TOKEN IN A SAFE PLACE, TREAT IT LIKE YOUR GMAIL PASSWORD! If the steps mentioned above do not work out for you, use an easier provider like Groq or look up tutorials online (Preferably: YouTube). After that, browse models and use the given API key to paste and also the endpoint (e.g if using OpenRouter: https://openrouter.ai/api/v1/chat/completions)
2. Create a character and save to start chatting. Once you do, a chatting window will appear were there is a hamburger icon (three lines) and an X button (to close). You can access your character drawer by pressing the hamburger icon. To see message options, tap/click on any messages. NOTE: DIFFERENT ROLES HAVE DIFFERENT OPTIONS
3. You can also export or import characters in the character drawer by tapping/clicking the hamburger icon and tapping/clicking the option "Share character" to export for backup or sharing. You can export or import your full data as backup by pressing: export button to backup as .gz file, import button to import as .gz file.
4. Press the Gear to configure your persona or AI request parameters. Leaving fields blank will do default requests (username empty is set as "User")
5. In the character drawer, press the hamburger icon to either make a character or create group chat. It is fairly easy to use both options. In the same section, you can save or delete characters.
6. Once this, you can learn more by yourself.
